Our Mission
GRACE Shelter exists to restore hope, stability, and dignity to individuals and families experiencing homelessness by providing compassionate support, resource navigation, emergency assistance, and community-based services while building pathways toward safe housing, self-sufficiency, and long-term healing. We are committed to serving the community through transitional housing, outreach, prevention efforts, partnerships, and supportive programs that meet the urgent needs of individuals and families within our communities.
Vision Statement
GRACE Shelter envisions a community where every individual and family has access to safe housing, supportive resources, and opportunities to thrive. We strive to become a trusted foundation of hope in Chicago by preventing homelessness, empowering lives through advocacy and support services and ultimately providing a safe and welcoming shelter for those in need.
